@MPScrimshaw Pretty much, Earlier this year EA restructured the company, making Bioware one of the main brands, mostly to be able to put their name on more boxes to sell more copies. So expect more games of different genres to come from "Bioware", because they're an EA brand now with like six studio last I checked. You could almost compare it to Take Two and Rockstar, take two has 2k and then has Rockstar which was developer that has turned into a brand.
I take it you're the author?
This is feeling more like an XBLA or PSN game, which isn't a bad thing mind you, but you figure Epic could self publish something like that. And they are Epic I figure publishers would pounce on their IPs, seeing as how they're one of the most successful devs ever.
it was better than last years, but the only truly great things imo were The Last of Us trailer, The Transformers Fall of Cybrotron trailer, and Miyamoto getting the standing ovation and Hall of Fame award he so rightfully deserved.
They have two teams now. Uncharted isn't going anywhere it's probably Sony's most successful new IP this gen, their crown jewel if you will. I imagine this branching out is a way to keep Uncharted going, but do new things at the same time.
Can't Wait!!!
So what does this mean ND has 400+ employees now? And they've kept that swcret. Amazing, love Naughty Dog my favorite dev ever, great to see them expand.
If they have a different memory card than the one you're using for your account. The PSN ID's are bonded to the memory card.
Damn poor Beenox, they make one successful Spidey game, and now Activision has relegated them to releasing one literally ever six months. Last one came out in October and now this one will be launching in June.
To the main argument that is going on in the handheld market, whether or not IOS will take, it's a really stupid opinion to say right off the bat that the 3DS and PSVita are automatically going to lose. I mean we haven't even seen a full handheld cycle during this smartphone boom, majority of the PSP and DS era were those two going at it. So we have no real data to base these claims because this fight hasn't happened yet. Now if the 3DS and Vita only sell 20 mil or something in th...
Is the aiming for all modes or just single-player, cause I thought the MP aiming felt better.
That would definitely make sense seeing as how they tweeted it was going to be revealed soon.
The eighth tweet on the list there said that this commercial was foreshadowing their game, and it linked to the for Micheal commercial. So if that's true, then third party characters are a given, because that trailer had Ezio, Snake, Lightning, and etc.
I hope this a true hardcore fighter and not some stupid move game like Playstation Move Heroes. Very, Very intrigued.
Did this game even sell?
Yeah that was near the beginning of this gen, notice how Microsoft hasn't published anymore Japanese focused games? It's because the console is literally dead in Japan.
Another way Gamestop is hurting the industry. I rarely buy used because getting something for 55 instead of 60 is negligible at best. Now if it's an older game I may consider it, but usually game stop follows the 4-5 bucks less ratio like with newer releases, e.g( 34 used, 40 new, 26 used, 30 new). I know people like to complain that games are really expensive, but actually there at an all time low. Back in the 90s SNES, Genesis, and 64 games could range from 50 to upwards of a 100 bucks....
The Insomniac one is obviously flamebait, because that one is a pretty big leap in logic. DoubleFine I could see, cause they've kind have had a relationship with Microsoft. Turtle Rock is having their new game published by THQ so them getting picked by a hardware manufacture and go exclusive in the middle of multiplatform development is kind of odd. It could happen but not likely. Grasshopper is another one that really wouldn't make sense, let's pick up a Japanese dev, which most ...
@Ulf He meant when Microsoft was publishing Bioware's games.
It's a great game, but I'm not fawning over it like most people in the games world. I personally felt Oblivion and Fallout 3 had a bigger impact on me and I like those better than Skyrim.
Well they have 5 retail games that will probably come in 2012, Twisted Metal, The Last Guardian (hopefully), Sly 4, StarHawk, and the Last of Us,( been in development by Naughty Dogs second team since 09, so it's not that crazy to think that a 2012 release couldn't happen). Then two PSN games that are looking really awesome, Dust 514 and Journey. Plus multiplats like Bioshock Infinite, Mass Effect 3, and GTA 5 and 2012 is looking like a real good year. Which is pretty incredible seein...
